The audience were introduced to the exciting work taking place to conserve Victorian architect and designer William Burges’ Neo-gothic decorative scheme in The Landmark Trust’s forthcoming holiday let in the heart of Dover. And discovered the fascinating story of this 800-year-old building, which has been a pilgrim hospital, Royal Navy Victualling Yard, town hall and prison.
